Public Key Infrastructure

SEALCOIN uses Pubic Key Infrastructure (PKI) services to create and assign a unique digital identity to every connected device or agent and manage it throughout its lifecycle. Device identities are called Certificates.

Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC)

SEALCOIN utilizes ECC to guarantee the secure authentication of devices and transactions. This cryptography method offers strong protection and efficiency, which is crucial for IoT environments where resource constraints exist.

Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC)

The platform integrates quantum-resistant cryptographic methods to ensure long-term security, even as quantum computing technologies become more mainstream.

Non‑Custodial Wallets

Proof-of-Concept

Each IoT device registers on SEALCOIN platform with a unique digital ID, secured by encrypted authentication, ensuring trusted and autonomous operations. Using the TIOT token, devices can independently initiate transactions, share data, and engage in secure service-for-payment exchanges without intermediaries.

In July 2024, SEALCOIN successfully executed a Proof of Concept, demonstrating the platform’s capability to facilitate secure, real-time IoT transactions. This PoC highlights SEALCOIN’s foundational role in building a decentralized IoT ecosystem.
